No need to argue it as the point isn't what is defined as nude but what is defined as "nonnude". The literal meaning of the word is moot.
"nonnude" is a term for acceptable (well legal) pictures of a sub 18 model or audience.

You can argue your "logic" in reverse as well. How about asking a girl if she'd rather have her picture taken in a completely see through wet tshirt and panties where you can see beaver and nipple or if she'd rather have her hands, bubbles, or what have you covering her private parts.
